A whole host of Leeds United fans are furious on Twitter with Junior Firpo’s performance against Fulham.

It hasn’t been a great start to life at Leeds for Firpo, who joined from Barcelona during the summer transfer window, as after four games in the Premier League thus far, they have conceded 10 goals when he’s been on the pitch.

In the last week, Firpo hasn’t had the best of times, having missed a golden chance to score against Newcastle United on Friday evening after blasting over from about five yards out, as tonight at Craven Cottage, he had seen a header go wayward in the defensive third, as well as messed up an attack for Leeds with his pass being poor, which has left many Leeds fans angered at his performance against Fulham.

What have these Leeds fans been saying?

How easy is it to get past Firpo? I’m not writing him off after so few games but he’s absolutely miles off the pace at the minute. #lufc

The left-back was brought in to replace Ezgjan Alioski, who left as a free agent and ended up joining Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia after spending four seasons at Elland Road, and despite Marcelo Bielsa wanting to keep the North Macedonian international beyond the summer.

Who was Bielsa's first competitive game as Leeds manager against?

Firpo had managed to rack up 41 appearances for Barcelona after joining the Catalonian club from Real Betis, but judging by some Leeds fans on Twitter, he is still yet to prove why he was signed and what Barcelona saw in him originally.

He did at least redeem himself somewhat after scoring his penalty in the shootout as Leeds booked their place in the next round.
