A lot of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to vent their fury with the performance of Tyler Roberts in their Carabao Cup clash against Fulham on Tuesday night.
The Premier League side were unable to find a breakthrough in 90 minutes of action at Craven Cottage, with Marcelo Bielsa’s men advancing after a penalty shootout.
Does Roberts have a future with Leeds?
Yes
No
Roberts started the game against Marco Silva’s side as he marked his sixth appearance across all competitions for the Whites this season (via Transfermarkt).
Leeds fans flocked to Twitter to share their frustrations with the display shown by their 22-year-old forward, who was taken off by Bielsa after 55 minutes.
What exactly did these Leeds fans have to say?
“I’m no Bielsa but Roberts is stealing a living. Gelhardt deserves his chance more than anybody”
Leeds now turn their attention back to league action and a home clash against David Moyes’ West Ham United as they search for their first win of the season in the top flight.
Roberts is still in search of his first goal of the season in a Leeds shirt, however, it seems these fans do not want to see much more of him under Bielsa.
