Following the departure of the 62-year-old, the club announced Steven Reid will take charge of the first team on an interim basis with a trip to Huddersfield Town coming up on Saturday.
With the club already sitting four points from safety, it is apparent his news has gone down well with the Forest fans who are delighted to see their club move on from Hughton.
