Given how the 23-year-old centre-forward managed to score 11 goals in 18 league appearances for Everton’s U23 side last season, it’s easy to see why these Sunderland fans are excited to see him join their team for the season.
In our view, if Broadhead can have a similar sort of impact in terms of scoring goals at Sunderland this season as he did for Everton’s U23s last term, then he would surely be a vital figure for the Black Cats and show just why the club signed him.
