Lots of Celtic supporters have been talking about some transfer news that emerged on social media.

The Scottish Sun has recently reported that the Hoops have now joined the race for winger Liel Abada from Israeli club Maccabi Petah Tikva. The 19-year-old is reportedly poised to depart his current club this summer, with French and Belgian sides already having made offers for him.

The report claims that Israeli agent Dudu Dahan has been given permission by Petah Tikva to secure a move for the youngster.

Abada is still only 19 and directly contributed to 16 goals in the league last season, racking up a tally of four assists for the side. In total, he has made 76 appearances for Petah Tikva, scoring 20 times and racking up as many as ten assists for the Israeli club (as per Transfermarkt).

He’s clearly an able player and since he’s a right-winger by trade, he could be a very good move for the Bhoys considering that Marian Shved is their only out-and-out right-wing option currently. Abada is still 19 and he may improve in the future, so this could be a very good move for the Hoops.
