Many Celtic supporters have been talking about following Ange Postecoglou’s latest comments about the midfielder.

Postecoglou was recently talking about the future of Ntcham and the Australian stated that he had a chat with the Frenchman, who made it clear that he wants him to return and make an impact in the 2021/22 season.

“It was his first game in quite a while. He is lacking a bit of match touch and fitness but he is part of the squad and hopefully he can make an impact this year.”

Should Ntcham be sold this summer?

Postecoglou also took the oppurtunity to praise the effort that Ntcham has been puttin in during training. Postecoglou’s comments came after Ntcham had played for the Bhoys in their recent 2-1 win over in a friendly game.

Postecoglou’s comments about Ntcham were relayed on Twitter by Celtic Bible, and many Bhoys fans made their views clear about it:

Before he was loaned out to last season, Ntcham had stopped playing regularly for the Bhoys. Even for the Ligue 1 club, the Frenchman only played a limited number of minutes in all competitions.

Last summer, the representatives of the midfielder had asked Celtic for their valuation of the player, which suggests that he might’ve been looking to leave.

However, it appears as these Celtic fans are a bit mixed in response, with some suggesting there is a potential future for him at Parkhead, whereas others slammed him for seasons gone by.
