Many Celtic fans have been raging at an incident involving Karamoko Dembele in their game against Bristol City.

Dembele wasn’t involved regularly in first-team affairs in the 2020/21 campaign and concerns had developed over his development application in training. He was meant to play as backup to James Forrest but that couldn’t happen because of those concerns.

Clearly, this is a player who perhaps has a point to prove this season at a very young age. Forrest didn’t travel to Wales because he went into self-isolation, so this might mean that the Scotsman may not be fit enough for the game against Midtjylland next week and because of that, Dembele’s injury will be a blow for the club.
