A whole host of Celtic fans have flocked to Twitter to show their delight at the latest news regarding Odsonne Edouard.
Edouard has been linked with clubs such as Crystal Palace and Leicester City this transfer window, while Brighton are the latest club to have their name attached to the striker, with Sportitalia’s Rudy Galetti claiming the Seagulls are ‘leading the race‘ for his signature and have bid €25m (£21.4m).
Galetti also suggested such a fee could be enough for Celtic to accept their proposal.
Meanwhile, The Express has reported that the Seagulls are set to use some of the £50 million they’re going to receive for Ben White on bringing in Edouard, as the Englishman nears a move to Arsenal.

It would be an astute piece of business by Celtic if they are able to receive over £20 million for Edouard considering he is in the final year of his contract.
Brighton are in desperate need of a striker with their top scorer Neal Maupay, finishing on a relatively lowly eight goals and they only managed to score 40 last season in the league, despite an Expected Goals total of 51.6.
