Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to claims by Alasdair Gold surrounding potential changes to the backroom changes at the club.
This summer has already been one of immense change in north London with the appointments of new head coach Nuno Espirito Santo and director of football Fabio Paratici, but it appears as if there could be more changes on the way.
According to Gold, writing in an article for Football.london, the club are set to appoint a new ‘head of emerging talent’ in Chris Perkins, who performed a similar role at both Derby County and Everton, with Spurs instructing Perkins to assist with bringing in players in the 17-21 age range to help bolster the club’s academy.
The news was relayed to Tottenham Hotspur fans on Gold’s Twitter page for them to react to, where there seemed to be a number of them that were rather excited to see his reported arrival:

It looks as if Spurs are really starting to settle in for the long haul with this one if they are looking to revamp the academy setup as well.
