West Bromwich Albion fans on Twitter have been responding to recently posted images of Baggies winger Robert Snodgrass.
In the caption to their post, the club’s Twitter account said that Snodgrass is on the “road to recovery” after the winger suffered a back injury at the back end of last season and that it is “fantastic” to see him back on the training pitch.
This post then gathered a number of replies from Baggies supporters who were not shy in sharing their responses:
So, what did these West Brom fans have to say in response to these images of Snodgrass?
“Will be a Important player for us next season. #WBA“
“Good player. Nice to see him back”
“Like a new signing”
“Incredible Recovery Cannot wait to see him back on the pitch next season”
“Gonna be a big player coming off the bench and getting us all 3 points next season”
“Good to see you @sondgrass on the playing field even if it is only training”
West Brom signed Snodgrass back in the previous January transfer window on an 18-month deal from West Ham United for an undisclosed fee.
Do you think Snodgrass will be an important player for WBA next season?
Looking at the replies to this post, it’s clear to see that these West Brom fans are happy to see Snodgrass getting back on the training pitch getting ready for the new season.
In our view, if the winger can keep his fitness up for the season and avoid picking up any more serious injuries, then he could well go on to be a very useful player in their squad based on his experience of playing a total of 144 games in the Championship in which he has managed to score 31 goals and provide 42 assists in the process (per Transfermarkt).
