Sheffield Wednesday fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest announcement made by the Yorkshire club.
This comes after the official Wednesday Twitter account shared a post on their page revealing that they have secured “an exciting new long-term partnership with Italian technical sportswear provider Macron.”
The official statement on the club’s website also added that Macron will supply the Owls’ official kit and training wear, with the deal commencing from the start of next month.
This post then gathered a number of replies from many Owls fans who were not shy in sharing their thoughts on the matter.

Given how the club had a very disappointing 2020/21 season that saw them go through numerous managers and interim coaches and finally ending the season at the bottom of the Championship table with 41 points, it’s good to see that these fans finally have some positive news that they can shout about.
In our view, the best thing that these Wednesday fans can hope for now would be to see their team manage to win promotion back to the Championship in their new Macron kits.
