Leeds United fans have been reacting to claims surrounding a potential move for Liverpool winger Harry Wilson.
Reports last summer claimed that the Welshman was a target for Marcelo Bielsa’s men, but ultimately a deal couldn’t be reached and he subsequently spent the season on loan with Championship side Cardiff City, where he racked up 7 goals and 12 assists across the campaign.
However, it looks as if they won’t be going in for him again this time around, with The Athletic claiming that Leeds United “have decided against a move that would stretch their budget for a single player” with Liverpool valuing him at €20m (£17.2m).
This news was relayed to fans via @leeds_utd_news, where they didn’t really seem too bothered about the idea about not going after him, as they didn’t seem to want him in the first place:
“He was poor in the Championship”
Should Leeds sign Harry Wilson this summer?
Yes
No
Although you wonder if perhaps a good tournament from the 24-year-old might convince them to think otherwise.
