Loads of Celtic fans have been fuming at a claim about Eddie Howe that has emerged on social media.
Pundit Noel Whelan was recently talking to Football Insider and he urged the Hoops to appoint a new manager soon so that they aren’t left behind by their Old Firm rivals. He made his confusion clear as to why a new manager hasn’t been appointed yet.
Whelan believes that an appointment should’ve been made by now and there is, plenty of work to do for the club to get back on track, suggesting that their recent 0-0 draw against Hibernian defines their campaign.

This was relayed on Facebook by Celtic Insider amid claims Howe had agreed a move to Parkhead, despite no word from the club on their next manager. Many Hoops fans were talking about the claim and Howe.
How did Celtic fans react to this claim?
A lot of these Celtic fans are either pessimistic about Howe’s abilities or do not believe that the Englishman wants to join the club.
Having said that, journalist Stephen McGowan has already stated that Howe isn’t interested in moving to Crystal Palace and he is attracted by the idea of playing European football at Celtic and wants a completely new experience in his career.
So it does seem as if Howe is likely to join the club soon and perhaps, Celtic fans should make peace with the idea.
