Postecoglou’s Brisbane Roar side was often described as “Roarcelona” due to their playing style and comparisons with Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona side. Under the Australian, Roar won two league titles and even went on a 36-match unbeaten run.
Under him, Australia won the Asian Cup in 2015 and he helped them exceed expectations at the 2014 World Cup, guiding them to qualification in the 2018 edition.
So Postecoglou clearly has an impressive CV and perhaps Celtic should be patient with him to impose his style over the team if he is appointed.
