A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from NUFC 360, which included an image of St. James’ Park with the Puma logos removed alongside the Castore badge.
Castore has been rumoured to be taking over from Puma as the Toon’s kit suppliers for a long time now, while it has been suggested that will be the case as a fan spotted an image appearing to show Castore’s badge underneath some covers.
This has drawn the attention of these Toon fans, who have had their say.
“Takeover confirmed, cans”
“Went past the ground yesterday, it looks in such a sorry state. Ashley hasn’t looked after it At all”
“When the sports direct ones go then it’s party time!”
Are you excited about Castore?
Yes, can't be worse than Puma
No, they won't be good
Puma have manufactured the Toon’s kits since the 2010-11 season, but it seems as if that partnership has ended, and Castore will take their place.
This post continued to draw in Toon fans who had their say.
“About time that roof was cleaned eye sore.”
“This isn’t good”
“Please… please…. Please….”
“Wouldn’t it of been easier taken it down? But never mind that look at state of roof”
It will be interesting to see what Castore come up with ahead of the 2021/22 campaign, and it will also be interesting to find out when the partnership will be announced.
