Fans of Celtic have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which PA Sport reporter Ronnie Esplin claimed that a win over their Glasgow rivals next week could lead to Celtic fans looking at John Kennedy in a new light.
Following Celtic’s impressive 6-0 win over Livingston on Saturday, Esplin took to Twitter, suggesting that, should the Bhoys defeat Rangers in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup next weekend, fans of the club could be convinced that Kennedy should be appointed as the Hoops’ permanent manager come the summer.
Since his appointment after the departure of Neil Lennon back in February, the 37-year-old has overseen five games in charge of the club, winning three and drawing two.
However, in reaction to Esplin’s tweet, fans of Celtic flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing to be rather unconvinced of Kennedy’s credentials for becoming their side’s next permanent boss.

All in all, it would appear that these Celtic fans are not in agreement with Esplin’s take on Kennedy, and, considering the rather sizeable job Celtic face in catching up to their Old Firm rivals next season, perhaps it would be advisable for the club to appoint a manager with a bit more experience than the 37-year-old.
