Celtic fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest social media post from Hoops defender Chris Jullien.

This comes after the centre-back shared a post on his official Twitter page that contained an image of himself celebrating with some of his Celtic teammates during their Scottish Cup final victory over Hearts back in December.

Celtic fans, can you get 8/8 on this quiz on forgotten players? First up: who is this?

Jullien captioned his post with the phrase “unless you have bad times, you can’t appreciate the good times.”

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Hoops fans who were quick to share their responses to Jullien’s message.

So, what did these Celtic fans have to say in response to this latest Twitter post from Jullien?

“Get a grip”

@kev_bhoy1984

“Mate, that’s sounds like some loser talk right there.”

@moonman2787

“Another who never understood”

@TLions67

“Not the mentality needed for Celtic.”

@SPMcGunnigle

“Bad times happen. It’s the manner that it happened. Gutless and spineless performances from the team this season”

@GerryGreener31

“You just don’t get it”

@ShieldsNicola

Celtic signed Jullien back in the 2019 summer transfer window from French club Toulouse for a fee of £7.2 million. Since then, the 28-year-old, who is currently valued at £4.95 million, has gone on to make 61 appearances for the Bhoys in which he has managed to score 10 goals and provide four assists in the process (per Transfermarkt).

Looking at the replies to this post from Jullien, it seems that these Hoops fans were not particularly welcoming of the defender’s message.

Given how far the club have fallen behind Rangers at the top of the SPFL table this season followed by them being knocked out of the Scottish Cup by Steven Gerrard’s side earlier this month, it’s understandable why these Celtic fans may not agree with Jullien’s statement or his mindset on the club’s disappointing season.

Have Celtic missed Jullien this season?

No

In our view, while Celtic have had an underwhelming season, the fact that Jullien has spent a large portion of the season out of action with a knee injury, there’s every possibility that his tweet was about this instead of Celtic’s overall season.
