Many Celtic fans took to Twitter in the second half of their game against Aberdeen on Wednesday night to lambast the display of Ryan Christie.

Celtic entered the break a goal behind as a result of Lewis Ferguson’s opening goal for the hosts with the Dons chasing a third-placed finish this season, but the Hoops did manage to find a late equaliser.

The Parkhead side began the restart to the Scottish Premiership in stunning style with an emphatic 6-0 victory over Livingston, however, John Kennedy will have been underwhelmed with their display in the first half of the game at the Pittodrie Stadium.

The Scottish midfielder lasted until the 61st-minute before being replaced by Tom Rogic as they searched for an equaliser.

It was Christie who bore the brunt of the frustration from the Celtic fans during the second half of their game against Stephen Glass’s men.

“Christie is absolutely shocking, the man should be out the door at the earliest opportunity.”
