Lots of Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to slam the first-half display of Jonjoe Kenny in their Scottish Premiership clash against Aberdeen.

The home side scored first through Lewis Ferguson with Aberdeen looking to close the gap on third-placed Hibernian who will sit just four points ahead of the Dons with a win against the Bhoys.

Kenny joined Celtic in February on a half-season long loan from Premier League side Everton having only made four appearances for the Toffees this season (via Transfermarkt).

Celtic won the first of their Scottish Premiership games following the split with an emphatic 6-0 victory against Livingston.

However, fans flocked to Twitter to voice their frustration at Jonjoe Kenny for his first-half performance in the game at the Pittodrie Stadium.

“JohnJoe Kenny is rotten”

“Celtic concede the same corner again. Front post header and Jonjoe Kenny losing his man for the open net at the back post. Carbon copy of the Morelos goal in the 1-1 game. Kenny is a joke of a player”
Kenny, who is now valued at £6.3 million (as per Transfermarkt), has now made 10 appearances for Celtic since arriving at the Glasgow side and went into the game against Aberdeen having only lost once in the Scottish Premiership this season.

It is clear the Celtic fans were left far from impressed by Kenny and his performance in the first half of the game with many blaming him for the opening goal of the game.
