Leeds United fans have been reacting to the performance of Helder Costa during their game against Liverpool.
Leeds United drew 1-1 with Liverpool thanks to goals from Sadio Mane for the visitors and a late equaliser from Diego Llorente. However things might have gone a little bit easier for them if there’d have been a little bit more production from the Portuguese winger, valued at £9m on Transfermarkt who didn’t have the best of nights for the club.
He only managed to get one shot off and didn’t complete a key pass as he only scored a 6.3 in the WhoScored rating before being subbed off just past the hour mark. No surprise then that there were plenty of Leeds United fans who were watching at home who were all too happy to criticise his display at Elland Road, with one fan even going so far as thinking it should be one of his last:
“Helder Costa is the worst thing to happen to football in the past 24 hours”

And given he’s currently ranked 17th in the team’s overall rating, there might be just enough reason for the club to move him on if he doesn’t pick up his game.
