In an exclusive interview with GiveMeSport, Fabrizio Romano revealed that he can’t see Erling Haaland moving to Liverpool this summer as they are happy with their forward options.

Haaland has been linked with a move to Liverpool as well as a whole host of other clubs after yet another stunning campaign in both the Bundesliga and Champions League as he became the youngest and fastest to reach 20 goals in the latter, netting 49 times in 49 games altogether for the German side.

The Norweigan striker has a £75 million release clause in his contract, but it is not able to be activated until next summer which allows Borussia Dortmund to command any fee they see fit this year.

Speaking on how any move to Liverpool be difficult this summer because they seem happy with their attacking options, Romano told GiveMeSport:

I think a move to Liverpool is complicated at this moment because they are happy with the team they have, so they’re not planning to do something like sign a central striker for this amount of money.

“Obviously I’m notpart of Liverpool so let’s see what happens but at this moment I see Liverpool being complicated.”

Haaland made an instant impact for Dortmund as he scored a hat-trick in just 23 minutes after coming on as a substitute against Augsburg.

He is currently the second top scorer in the Bundesliga with 21 goals, only behind Robert Lewandowski who has 35.
