Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed Spurs’ team news ahead of their Premier League clash with West Ham United on Sunday.

Perhaps the most eye-catching selection in Tottenham’s team to face West Ham is the inclusion of Sergio Reguilon, who had missed the club’s last five league fixtures due to a muscle injury – a run of games in which Jose Mourinho’s side had picked up just three points.

A nice easy one to start off with, who is Tottenham's record signing?

And, after the official Tottenham Hotspur Twitter account shared the club’s starting XI for the London derby against West Ham on Sunday, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing ecstatic at the inclusion of the £25.2 million-rated left-back.

So, what exactly did these Tottenham Hotspur fans have to say in reaction to Sergio Reguilon’s selection?

“REGGYYYYYYYYY COME ONNNNNN.”

@spreathed

“REGGY WE WINNING.”

@hurrikane_thfc

“EYYYYYYYYY REGUIIIIIIIIIIII.”

@joaqs_antonvj

“REGGY AND NO DOHERTY.”

@THFC_Me

“REGUILON IS STARTING!!! YES!!!- Hope we are not rushing him back though, but I predict he will get one or two assists today.”

@SDognut

“Oh, Reguilon is back!!! That’s a great surprise and Tanganga playing again! Very happy! #COYS”

@AmandaSeager

“REGGYYYY. MIND GAMES.”

@Amy_bellxx

“Yay, he is back. Best news ever.”

@phoeX1

All in all, it would appear that these Tottenham fans are delighted to see that Reguilon is back in the Spurs team especially as he ranks third for total assists behind Heung-min Son and Harry Kane.

And considering the dire run the club have been on in the defender’s absence, it is not difficult to understand why they’d be so happy to see him back from injury at long last.
