A nice easy one to start off with, who is Tottenham's record signing?

The article revealed that the north London club have hired a commercial chief who landed one of the most lucrative stadium naming-rights deals in the NFL with Daniel Levy appointing ex-Miami Dolphins executive, Todd Kline, as their new chief commercial officer.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were not shy in sharing their responses to this latest appointment.

So, what did these Spurs fans have to say in response to this news?

“Does this mean we can buy actual footballers now?”

@woodwan91

Wicked, means they’ll get a big fat cheque and invest in the team…….Yeah right!!!!!! Levy will up his 7m a year salary to 10m for doing the deal. #ENICOUT”

@coysforever1

“Profit over glory”

@peter_risley

“He actually did one good thing”

@RobertArrigo1

“Might get Levy a bonus on top of his 7 or 8 million a season whilst we continue to pay highest ST prices to watch Dier, Davies, Sisokko, Winks , Aurier type players”

@N17_Jay

“Money Doesn’t change anything on pitch level …. money won’t get filtered down that far ! Straight in levy and Lewis sky rocket”

@essexLADtb27

“Great move, more revenues.”

@KifsonWhoo

“How about hiring a scouting system and a few new players?”

@Growbag

Do you think Daniel Levy cares more about money than the team?

Yes

No

Given how Jose Mourinho’s side currently sit in eighth place in the Premier League table, 14 points behind league leaders Manchester City, as well as having crashed out of the FA Cup after conceding five goals against Everton, it’s understandable why some of these Spurs fans think there needs to be some investment made into the squad.
