Tottenham Hotspur fans have been begging the club to sign Aston Villa winger Jack Grealish following some recent comments of his.
The England international took to his Instagram (via Football.London) to praise Spurs forward Son Heung-min for his crossing ability during their recent loss to Everton in the FA Cup. The South Korean picked up three assists on the night, two of them coming from corners, both of them headed home by Davinson Sanchez, with Grealish cheekily calling his crossing ability ‘an absolute scandal’.
The club have been linked with the 25-year-old in previous transfer windows, but given where Tottenham are in the table, they could certainly use his attacking prowess more than ever right now. It would certainly offer them a different style of play to the defensive philosophy they’ve employed recently.
So when his comments were relayed to those on the Tottenham Hotspur – Football.London Facebook page, fans demanded that the club splash the cash to bag his signature:
