Newcastle United fans have been taking some cheeky shots at one of their players ahead of this Monday’s game with Chelsea.
Having picked up a win in their last game out against Southampton, Steve Bruce’s men will be hoping to make it two in a row and push themselves just that little further away from the relegation zone, but they’re going to have to do it the hard way.
As this article from The Chronicle revealed, Newcastle United have just 16 outfield players available after a spate of injuries has gone through the squad. On top of that, midfielder Jeff Hendrick is also suspended following his red card against the Saints.
Although it doesn’t seem as though Newcastle fans were all that bothered about him not being available, even if the numbers for the rest of the squad are low:
“Jeff Hendrick suspended. Got to take the few positives we can, I guess.”
