Fans of Leeds United have taken to Twitter to criticise the performance of the Whites midfielder, Mateusz Klich, in United’s 1-0 loss to Aston Villa on Saturday.

Coming off the back of an impressive 3-0 victory over Southampton, Marcelo Bielsa’s side knew that a win against Villa on Saturday would move them to within seven points of the Champions League places in the Premier League table.

Nice easy one to start off with, what number does Phillips wear for Leeds United?

However, despite enjoying much more attacking momentum than their opponents, Leeds ultimately failed to recover from an early Anwar El Ghazi strike, with Dean Smith’s team being the side who ended up edging closer to the top four.

And, in reaction to the fixture, fans of Leeds seemed far from pleased with a number of their players’ displays in the fixture, with one standout target for criticism appearing to be Klich, who earned a rather disappointing SofaScore match rating of 6.2 for his efforts against Villa – ranking him as the club’s joint-worst performer in the game – as well as losing possession of the ball a total of 18 times in the match.

Should Leeds look to move Klich on this summer?

So, what exactly did these Leeds United fans have to say in reaction to Mateusz Klich’s performance against Aston Villa?

“You wanna talk about Klich? Waste of a shirt.”

@LufcLuca_

“Shocking. Klich and Roberts are not PL quality. Relying too much on Raphinha already.”

@ClipperBoyz

“Need new players this summer. Costa not good enough, Roberts not good enough, Klich not good enough.”

@mattrobbo89

“Klich, Roberts, Alioski all out the door in the summer.”

@WAFLL_92

“Sell Klich now he’s useless.”

@thomasIufc

“Sell Klich ASAP.”

@lewis__lufc

“Get Klich out of this club.”

@liamod16

All in all, it would appear as if these Leeds fans were far from impressed with the performance of Klich, with some even going as far to claim that they would be more than happy for their club to sell the £3.15 million-rated 30-year-old this summer.
