Fans of Celtic have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relayed a report that claims Rafael Benitez is set to be appointed the new Celtic manager.
According to the report by The Mirror, Benitez is ‘set to become Celtic’s new manager’ after quitting his £12 million per year job at Chinese Super League club, Dalian Pro.
The club’s current boss, Neil Lennon, has come under increasing pressure as his side currently trail league leaders Rangers by 23 points in the Scottish Premiership table.
And, The Mirror report that Benitez’s ‘sudden availability’ means that Celtic have a ‘world-class replacement’ for the Northern Irishman.
