Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have recently reacted to a Daily Mail report regarding the future of Ivorian right-back Serge Aurier.

During their last Premier League outing, Spurs suffered their first league defeat of 2021 as they fell to a 3-1 loss against Liverpool (per Transfermarkt).

Following the game, it emerged that Aurier had stormed out of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at half-time against the Reds due to a disagreement with Jose Mourinho. It was claimed that teammates were ‘shocked’ at the full-back’s reaction to being removed after 45 minutes of action.

Late on Friday, a report by the Daily Mail later suggested that the Ivorian is ‘now fighting to save his career at the club’ after his outburst during the interval against Liverpool.

This claim was relayed on Twitter by Last Word On Spurs and Daily Hotspur and it had lots of supporters talking.
