Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest tweet that the club recently relayed on social media.
Following Celtic’s 4-1 win over Motherwell in the Premiership recently, the club’s official Twitter account posted an image of Tom Rogic. The image was from the game against Motherwell and had the caption ‘Magic from Tom Rogic’.
This tweet involving the Australian midfielder caught the attention of many Celtic fans, who began talking about Rogic. They seemed surprised that the club was looking to sell him in the summer transfer window.

In the summer transfer window, Rogic was linked with a move to Qatar. An unnamed Qatari club was in talks with Celtic to sign Rogic and it was reported that he was ‘set’ to join that club too. The fee in question was £4 million and an agreement was expected (as per the Daily Mail).
The transfer fell through though, as Rogic failed to agree personal terms with the club. Some other Celtic fans also talked about the fact that Celtic were looking to sell the midfielder in the summer.

After having missed the first few games of the campaign, Rogic has now made seven appearances in all competitions for the Bhoys. In four Premiership games, he has already picked up three assists, one of those came against Motherwell (as per Transfermarkt).
The 27-year-old has picked up a rating of 7.04 in the Premiership, which has made him Celtic’s ninth-best performer, and that is a reflection of how important he can be for Celtic.
So, it is understandable why some fans are glad that the club didn’t sell the Australian in the summer.
