Ralston, now 22, is a product of the Celtic youth academy and has previously spent loan stints at Queen’s Park and Dundee United. Last season, the defender was loaned out to St. Johnstone (as per Transfermarkt).
He is yet to make a single appearance this season but he did play two Premiership games in the 2019/20 campaign for the Bhoys (as per Transfermarkt).
Every so often I forget he’s still under contract at Celtic https://t.co/spiUu52vSK

Some of these Celtic fans can’t believe the fact that the 22-year-old is still at Parkhead and are mocking him.
Ralston , who is valued at £405k (as per Transfermarkt), is a right-back by trade but he can also play on the right side of the midfield. As things stand, Celtic have just one other out-and-out option at right-back apart from the defender, while they have just one senior option in the right midfield spot, too (as per Transfermarkt).
This suggests that the Celtic squad is a bit light when it comes to the positions that Ralston can play in. So it won’t be a surprise to see the 22-year-old getting a chance at some point this season, so perhaps he will be given an opportunity to prove some of these fans wrong.
