Simunovic left Celtic in the summer as the Hoops decided not to trigger the optional one-year contract extension for the Croatian (as per The Scottish Sun).
During his time at Celtic, Simunovic made a total of 126 appearances for the Bhoys. The 26-year-old scored five goals for the Hoops since joining in 2015 (as per Transfermarkt).
Wish u still were there. We need you back

These Celtic fans want Simunovic back at Parkhead and one fan believes that the club shouldn’t have let the Croatian leave in the summer.
Having said that, Simunovic missed as many as 55 games due to injuries since the start of the 2017/18 campaign. Quite a few of them were knee injuries and he had missed many games in the 2019/20 campaign, too (as per Transfermarkt).
Because of the defender’s questionable fitness record, it is understandable why Celtic decided to let him go in the summer transfer window.
