Many Leeds United supporters have been reacting to a Twitter post in which it was revealed that midfielder Adam Forshaw joined in with a video call set up by the club’s foundation as part of their work regarding mental health and wellbeing, taking part in a Q&A session with the participants.
According to the club’s official website, the 29-year-old provided some insight into life as a professional footballer, how he stays motivated and how he works through the ‘tougher’ days among other things.
Forshaw has been sidelined since September 2019 with a hip injury and is yet to appear in Marcelo Bielsa’s squad this season (as per Transfermarkt), missing a total of 47 games to date.
How have the Leeds fans reacted to the Twitter post regarding Adam Forshaw?

He could surprise us too by coming back from injury whilst he’s at it

Is there any idea when he’s back? Would be ideal cover for KP and another option in MF. Love Forshaw, brilliant player when he’s fit

Based on the tone of the above replies, we can assume some of these Leeds United fans have grown somewhat frustrated by Forshaw’s fitness issues.
The player joined the Whites from Middlesbrough back in back in January 2018 in a deal reportedly worth £4.59m (as per Transfermarkt), however, despite being with the club for such a long period of time, he has made just 52 appearances for the Yorkshire giants.
Therefore, you could say the frustration shown by these supporters is somewhat understandable.
