Which club did Brown join Celtic from?

Forster was on loan at Celtic from Southampton for the 2019/20 campaign. He had initially joined Southampton from Celtic in the summer of 2014 (as per Transfermarkt).

In the recent summer transfer window, Lennon confirmed that while a deal was in place between Celtic and Southampton to bring Forster to Parkhead for the 2020/21 campaign, things went quiet from the player’s end of the deal. It was also reported that Forster wanted to fight for his place at Southampton.

Some other Celtic fans also reacted to the latest rumours linking Forster with a Parkhead return.

There is clearly a mixed reaction to this update and while some Celtic fans want Forster back, others don’t want him to return because he decided against a move in the summer.

Celtic did sign Vasilis Barkas in the summer and they spent a fee of £2.95 million to bring him to Parkhead. While he has come in for criticism already, he might still be finding his feet at the club since this is his first season in Scotland. So since Celtic spent a significant amount of money to sign him, it would make more sense for them to use Barkas as much as they can instead of signing another goalkeeper.
