Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been replying to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs-focused Twitter account @HotspurRelated which shares an image of Sergio Reguilon brushing his teeth while wearing pyjamas featuring Tottenham’s club crest.
The Spanish left-back, who was signed by Tottenham for £27m from Real Madrid back in September, has made nine appearances and three assists in all competitions for the Lilywhites so far this term.
Reguilon had never played for a club outside of Spain prior to joining the Lilywhites in September, but judging by the fact that he can be seen wearing Spurs-themed pyjamas in this image, it seems as though he’s settled into life well in north London.
So, how did these Tottenham Hotspur fans react to this image of Sergio Reguilon?

In his five Premier League appearances for Tottenham so far this season, the £25.2m-rated man has made two assists and earned the fourth-highest overall WhoScored rating (7.13/10) of any Lilywhites player for the 2020/21 campaign, so perhaps Reguilon will already have made a positive impression on fans of his new club via his performances on the pitch since making his move to Spurs in September.
And this image, which first appeared on his girlfriend’s Instagram story, certainly doesn’t seem to have done his reputation with Lilywhites fans much harm, as this tweet drew a largely positive reaction from Spurs supporters.

As per Football.london, Real Madrid can buy Reguilon back from Spurs either next summer or the summer after that for a fee that would see Tottenham make a profit of around £15m on what they paid to sign him.
However, Reguilon must agree to re-join Los Blancos for that move to happen, and one particular Spurs supporter replied to this tweet to share that they don’t think he’s going to want to leave north London any time soon.
