A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a tweet from Kalvin Phillips that followed the Whites’ 0-0 draw with Arsenal.
The 24-year-old claimed that the result against the Gunners was ‘frustrating’ but that Leeds turned in a ‘strong performance’ and that it ‘felt great to be back’.
This was Phillips’ first Premier League game since he played in Leeds’ 1-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers as he has been out with a shoulder injury, with his return seeing the Whites earn a clean sheet.
This post from the England international drew the attention of many Leeds fans, who heaped praise on Phillips.
So, what did these Leeds fans think of this post from Phillips?
You & the lads were absolutely on fire. The football were playing is just ??? albeit a draw yesterday. Onwards & upwards #MOT ???

Did Leeds miss Phillips?
Yes, we are not the same team without him
No, we don't need him
Other Whites fans, though, were hoping that he wasn’t injured.
How’s the knee Kalvin? ?

On his return to the team, the 24-year-old turned in a solid performance that was rated 6.72/10 by WhoScored.
He also made one tackle, one interception and one key pass, which is decent – but perhaps doesn’t warrant the reaction from so many Whites fans, who were mainly delighted to have him back in the matchday squad.
However, in the games that Phillips missed, Leeds won 3-0 against Aston Villa but lost 4-1 to both Leicester City and Crystal Palace, so it is clear that they missed him in those latter two games.
Judging by the replies, many Whites fans were buzzing to have Phillips back, and it will be interesting to see how he plays in the coming games.
