Many Celtic fans have been talking about a tweet involving Neil Lennon that recently emerged on social media.

The Celtic Twitter account relayed a comment from Lennon that the Celtic boss made in a recent press conference. Lennon said that he has seen two newspapers run polls about whether he should be sacked or not and he hasn’t seen anything like that before. The Hoops boss feels that a Celtic fan can’t be driving these motives.

Lennon’s Celtic were recently held to a 3-3 draw at Pittodrie by Aberdeen. Before that, they had lost 3-1 to AC Milan in the group stages of the UEFA Europa League and had lost 2-0 in the Old Firm derby at Parkhead too (as per Transfermarkt).

As a result of this poor form, the Hoops are now six points behind the Gers in a season when they are chasing their tenth Premiership title in a row. They do have a game in hand though.

Some other Celtic fans also expressed their displeasure for Lennon and made it clear that fans indeed want him gone.

Some of these Celtic fans feel that a part of the fanbase wants to get rid of Lennon and others are expressing their dislike for the club’s manager.

Two Old Firm derbies are still left in the Premiership season and quite a few games are still left in the campaign.

Lennon had helped the club win the Premiership title and the League Cup last season and because of that, he might have enough credit in his bag to stay at the club for a longer amount of time and he may have to use that to turn things around at Parkhead and help them emerge from this tough period.
