Laxalt featured often during his loan spell in Turin in the first half of last season. He made 16 Serie A appearances for Torino and picked up one assist. Upon his return to Milan, he made four Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri (as per Transfermarkt).
Some other Celtic fans also reacted to the club’s announcement of the 27-year-old left-back.
Best transfer window in a while. Signed some real class players and held on to all our first team

These Celtic fans are clearly pleased about the signing of Laxalt and some of them feel happy that he will provide competition to Greg Taylor.
Laxalt clearly has the experience of playing first-team football and apart from being able to play at left-back, he can also play in the left wing-back position as well as in left-midfield. Following Boli Bolingoli’s loan move to Istanbul Basaksehir, Celtic had just a single out-and-out option for the left-back position in Taylor, so Laxalt will add depth to the club’s first-team and because of that, this move makes sense for the Bhoys.
