Many Celtic fans have been fuming at a video involving Neil Lennon that recently emerged on social media.
Celtic recently lost 3-1 to AC Milan in the group stages of the UEFA Europa League. After the game, the Celtic Twitter account posted a video involving Lennon. The Hoops boss said that the performance against the Serie A side was much better than the showing in the Old Firm derby and he said that the side started the game well too.
Lennon also said that the Hoops were a good value for at least a draw and the defeat was ‘hard to take’. The tweet involving Lennon’s video caught the attention of many Celtic fans. They made their feelings clear about the club’s manager.
What did Celtic fans make of Neil Lennon’s post-match interview?
His own body language reeks, no passion whatsoever for the job anymore.

Do Celtic need to sack Neil Lennon?
Yes
No
These post match interviews really concern me. ‘Terrific’ in the 2nd half was what he said on BT! Who the hell is he watching? We upped the game in the 2nd half but were so far from being ‘Terrific’. Get a grip! Admit when you get it wrong. A back 3 isn’t working!!!

Good showing for at least a draw… we’re in big trouble if he believes that

Celtic attempted a total of 13 shots in the game on Thursday, while Milan attempted only six shots. The Hoops also attempted more dribbles, won more aerial duels and won the same amount of tackles as Milan in the game. The Bhoys picked up a rating of only 6.45 though, as Stefano Pioli’s men racked up a much higher rating of 6.91 (as per Whoscored).
Some other Celtic fans were also not happy with Lennon and they made their feelings clear about him as well.
Lenny out

Clearly, some of these Celtic fans want Lennon gone from the club and they aren’t happy with the job that he’s doing at Parkhead.
While the Hoops did lose to the Gers in the Old Firm and have now lost their first game in the group stages of the Europa League, they still have a lot of games left in the season. Because of that, Lennon might have a fair amount of time to turn things around at the club and bring fans back on his side in the future.
