Many Celtic fans have been fuming at Charlie Adam after some of his comments recently emerged on social media.
PLZ Soccer recently posted a tweet that had a video of The Football Show, which featured Adam on the panel. He claimed to be aware of ‘grumblings’ at Celtic, suggesting that the club’s defender Nir Bitton has been causing ‘an issue’ and there were some players who wanted to leave the club in the summer transfer window.
This tweet from PLZ Soccer caught the attention of many Celtic fans, who flocked to the post and made their anger clear about Adam and his comments.

Bitton had tested positive for the virus on international duty recently and seems likely to miss the upcoming Old Firm derby.
Some other Celtic fans were also fuming at Adam’s latest comments about Bitton and the Hoops’ squad.

Some of these Celtic fans don’t believe that Adam is a Parkhead insider and are refusing to believe what he’s talking about.
While there’s been no suggestion in the media about Bitton looking to leave Celtic, the representatives of Olivier Ntcham and Kristoffer Ajer had asked for information from the Hoops about their valuations of the players in recent months. Meanwhile, Odsonne Edouard was linked with a move to the Premier League, though his agent confirmed that he is ‘happy’ at Celtic.
As it remains unclear as to where Adam retrieved his information, it is difficult to tell whether the players were satisfied in staying at Celtic over the summer – but these fans are certainly not buying the ex-Rangers man’s comments.
