Supporters of Celtic have been reacting to footage of Shane Duffy which was posted to social media by the Hoops.
On Tuesday afternoon, the club shared footage of the Irish central defender putting on a Celtic shirt with his name and number on the back (per Celtic).
Alongside the footage, the club commented: ‘A Bhoyhood dream come true! @shaneduffy in the Hoops’.
Lots of the Celtic Park faithful then flocked to this post to air their thoughts on the footage.

Neil Lennon’s outfit secured the services of the defender in early September from Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion (per BBC).
The deal which saw the 28-year-old centre-back move to Parkhead is a season-long loan.
Upon his move to Scotland, the Irishman stated that it was his ‘dream to play for Celtic’ and that he was going to give his ‘everything’ for the Hoops (per Shane Duffy).

During the 2019/20 season, Duffy made 19 Premier League appearances for Brighton, 12 of which were starts and seven came from the bench (per WhoScored).
In those outings, the defender delivered solid performances as he turned in a 6.71/10 average rating for the Seagulls which made him their joint-fifth-best performer in the league.

Hopefully, over the 2020/21 season, the on-loan centre-back can be a positive force in helping Celtic win their 10th Scottish top-flight title in a row.
