Many Celtic fans have been fuming at the performance of Scott Brown following the club’s 3-2 win over Livingston on Saturday.
The Hoops managed to beat Livingston by a 3-2 scoreline on Saturday. They had gone behind in the 16th minute of the game, but goals from Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie and Albian Ajeti gave them a 3-1 lead. Julien Serrano’s strike proved to be a consolation, as Neil Lennon’s men went to the top of the table on a temporary basis, with Rangers’ 2-2 draw at Hibernian on Sunday seeing them climb back to the summit of the Premiership.
Despite the win, some Celtic fans weren’t impressed with the performance of Brown, who had started in the midfield of the club’s 3-5-2 shape. Fans took to Twitter and slammed Brown for his performance.
How has Scott Brown stayed on? What does he have on Lennon?

Should Neil Lennon drop Scott Brown?
Yes
No
Papering over obvious cracks. Scott Brown is far from mobile nowadays, needs to be a bit part player instead of playing every minute of every game.
Our defence is shambolic at best and will get tore to bits by a decent attacking outfit.
How is a 22 year old too tired to play?

Can we remove Scott Brown from the squad.
Also Lenny, what does like for like substitutions actually achieve.
Doesn’t change the game much tho does it?— Gazzarinho (@gazzarinho1) September 19, 2020
This continual obsession that Lennon seems to have with a 35 year old Scott Brown starting every game is going to come back to bite us this season @CelticFC. Guy is a legend but clear to the eye his legs are going.

Brown has been a regular for the Bhoys this season and has made nine appearances in all competitions. In the Premiership, he has played seven times for the Bhoys. Brown has played the second-highest number of minutes in all competitions for the Hoops in the current campaign.
Some other Celtic fans also had criticism for Brown and his performance at Parkhead on Saturday.
Scott Brown can’t play 90

We’re building a team around a 35 year old Central midfielder who again has had a very poor game!!!!

Last half hour here has shown that Scott Brown simply cannot be getting guaranteed a game week in, week out.

Some of these Celtic fans believe that Brown should not be playing as much as he is and he didn’t have a good game on Saturday.
Brown picked up a rating of 6.46 in the game and seven players picked up worse ratings than him on the day. Brown won the joint second-highest number of tackles in the game (one) but didn’t make a single interception for the Bhoys. He took a single shot on goal and completed a single dribble as well (as per WhoScored).
So it wasn’t quite an impressive performance from Brown. Considering that he has played the second-highest number of minutes in all competitions this season, perhaps he needs a bit of rest and that might help him get back to his best.
