Some Celtic fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney after he sent a positive message to a Hoops supporter named David Balmer, who is currently battling Motor Neurone Disease.
The sister of this Celtic fan, Lynsay Balmer, whose Twitter account shares a link to balmerbattlesmnd.com which is dedicated to helping her brother share his story and raise funds for his battle against this disease, sent a tweet to the ex-Celtic defender asking him if he could give her brother David a ‘shout out’ and Tierney duly obliged, sending this fan of his former club a message which read: ‘God bless you mate keep fighting.’
Tierney’s reply drew a positive reaction from the person who sent the original tweet to the Scotland international and she shared that this reply made her brother’s day and the tweet also caught the attention of many more Celtic supporters who replied to the post, some of whom joined the defender in sending Balmer some positive messages.

Is Tierney a Celtic legend?
YES
NO
So, as it can be seen from these Celtic fans’ replies to this post, it certainly seems as though Tierney’s tweet sending a positive message to Balmer has seemingly brought a smile to the face of the Celtic fan in question and has made many other Hoops supporters happy too.
It is nice to see Tierney acknowledging this post and sending a positive message to Balmer and we feel it’s not a surprise to see that this tweet has drawn a positive reaction from many fans of the Glasgow-based club.
