Many Celtic fans have flocked to the latest tweet that Dundee Football Club recently relayed on social media.
Celtic’s young striker Jonathan Afolabi recently sealed a loan move to Dundee and the Irishman featured for the club in their pre-season friendly clash against Peterhead as well.
Dundee won the game 4-0 and Afolabi scored a goal on the day.
When Afolabi scored, the Dundee Twitter account relayed the information on social media. The tweet caught the attention of many Celtic fans and they made their feelings clear about the young striker.

Afolabi joined Celtic from Southampton in the summer of 2019 on a free transfer.
He had joined Dunfermline Athletic on loan in the January transfer window and he returned from that spell earlier this year (as per Transfermarkt).
Some other Celtic fans also liked the fact that Afolabi has started his Dundee career in good style.

As a Celtic player, Afolabi hasn’t played a single first-team game for the Hoops so far but he did contribute to three goals in six games for Dunfermline in the second half of last season.
Since he’s not played for Celtic yet, he is clearly someone who needs regular first-team football to develop.
The early indications are that he will get regular football at Dundee and that will only help his development as a footballer. Celtic fans can only hope that he keeps scoring goals and he returns to Parkhead as a better player.
