Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to some footage of Jose Mourinho and Tanguy Ndombele following the Lilywhites’ penalty shootout win over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening.
Daily Hotspur shared some footage of the Frenchman sharing a hug with his Portuguese manager following the final whistle after it was originally shared by Football Daily and it has delighted a lot of Spurs fans on Twitter.
The 23-year-old’s future with the Lilywhites did not look great last season when he made just 21 appearances in the Premier League, with Mourinho extremely critical of the midfielder’s performance against Burnley in March, but he looks to have won over the former Chelsea boss with his efforts during the first few weeks of the current season.

Great to see this, reminds me a little bit of the connection poch had before it all went wrong. But jose can keep the line of a friend and a manager. The players know he is boss, some didn’t think that of poch after a while
