Many Celtic fans have been discussing a tweet involving Neil Lennon that recently emerged on social media.

Following Celtic’s 3-2 win over Livingston, the Celtic Twitter account relayed a video involving Neil Lennon. Lennon said that the result against Livingston was a ‘great win’ for the Bhoys and it has been a ‘great week’ for them as well.

The Hoops boss touched on the fact that the win took Celtic to the top of the league, prior to Rangers’ 2-2 with Hibernian on Sunday, and that is all he could ask from his players.

In the game against Livingston, Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie and Albian Ajeti scored a goal each. On Wednesday, the Bhoys had managed to beat St. Mirren 2-1, thanks to goals from Shane Duffy and James Forrest. They are yet to lose a single game in the Premiership campaign.

Despite that, some other Celtic fans were also not happy about Lennon and they made their anger very clear about him.

Some Celtic fans weren’t happy with the performance against Livingston and they don’t feel that it was a ‘great win’ for the Bhoys, as Lennon sated.

Celtic fans should keep in mind that the Hoops had as many as 17 attempts on goal against Livingston on Saturday and picked up a higher rating than the opposition as well (as per WhoScored).

So it wasn’t a bad performance at all from them. Fans should also consider the fact that the win took Celtic to the top of the Premiership table, prior to Rangers’ draw with Hibs on Sunday.

However, considering the fact that the Hoops are just one point behind their rivals, with a game in hand, it still seems like Celtic are on the right track and perhaps the criticism for Lennon is unjustified.
