Supporters of Leeds United have been reacting to a transfer update regarding the Whites’ interest in signing Fiorentina’s Erick Pulgar.
According to Monday’s edition of Italian outlet La Nazione, as cited by Sport Witness, Marcelo Bielsa’s outfit is keen on sealing the arrival of the 26-year-old midfielder.
It is stated that Leeds are preparing their second transfer offer to land the Chilean and it could total around €15m (£13.8m).
This report was relayed on social media by James Marshment and in his tweet, he added that it was not clear if Pulgar would be signed alongside, or instead of, Udinese midfielder Rodrigo de Paul.
Lots of the Elland Road faithful then flocked to the tweet to air their thoughts.

In Sport Witness’ report, it is touted that Leeds may see Pulgar as a backup option in case they cannot land De Paul as the two players had similar roles for their clubs last season.
One of the latest claims regarding the Whites’ interest in De Paul came from La Repubblica, as cited by TEAMtalk, which claimed that Leeds had ‘won the race’ for the Argentine midfielder.

Leeds had been linked with Dinamo Zagreb defender Josko Gvardiol recently, however, the Whites are set to miss out on him as he is going to sign for RB Leipzig (per Football Insider).
So, some fans aired their belief that Pulgar was being targeted instead of Gvardiol.
