Many Celtic fans have been discussing the latest news update involving Boli Bolingoli that recently emerged on social media.
The Daily Record recently reported that Serie A giants Roma have ‘considerable’ interest in signing Bolingoli and an offer from the Giallorossi could arrive soon. They claim that Paulo Fonseca’s side ‘like the look’ of the defender despite the fact that he was surrounded with controversy after having broken quarantine rules earlier this summer.
The Daily Record relayed this information on Twitter and it caught the attention of a lot of Celtic fans. They made their opinion very clear about the defender.
Hopefully even make a profit

Bolingoli had taken a secret trip to Spain and after having failed to quarantine, he even featured for Celtic in a Premiership game against Kilmarnock. Neil Lennon later described this as a ‘selfish’ act from the Belgian and also called it a ‘total betrayal of trust’ from the defender.
Bolingoli is yet to play a single game for Celtic since his appearance against Kilmarnock earlier in the campaign.
Some other Celtic fans also discussed the rumours linking him with a move to Roma.
It’s not a plot. He can go. A plot implies we want him to stay. We don’t

Clearly, some of these Celtic fans can’t believe that Roma want to sign Bolingoli and others are pretty happy to see the left-back leave Parkhead this summer.
It has already been reported that Celtic are looking at potential replacements for the defender and Neil Lennon’s comments suggest that he isn’t happy with Bolingoli’s actions at all.
Greg Taylor has become Celtic’s regular first-choice left-back now and Bolingoli hadn’t played a single league game since the turn of the year in the previous season. It shows that if Celtic lose the defender, they might not miss him too much – especially if they sign a replacement this summer.
