Pundit Kevin Graham has recently made a claim about Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic and his future at Parkhead.

Graham was a guest on the latest episode of A Celtic State of Mind and the panel discussed many issues involving the Parkhead club. One player that they focused on was Rogic and Graham talked about his future at Celtic. He believes that the midfielder’s agent will already be contacting clubs in England.

Starting with an easy one - which club did Celtic sign Moussa Dembele from?

As per Sky Sports Scotland, Rogic’s move to Qatar is now off as the midfielder couldn’t agree personal terms with an unnamed Qatar-based club. The Daily Mail had initially reported that Rogic was ‘set’ for a £4m move to this unnamed Qatari club.

When talking about Rogic’s future, Graham shared that he believes his agent will be getting in touch with clubs in England to help the player secure a move away from Celtic.

Should Celtic sell Rogic in the current transfer window?

He said: “With this move to Qatar breaking down, [I’ve] got no doubts that his agent will be phoning English clubs, saying this lad has no future at Celtic, this is the price that they’re willing to accept – do you want to take him?”

TIF Thoughts…

Rogic is currently valued at £1.80m by Transfermarkt but the Australian has had a fair share of injury issues over the last few seasons. He is yet to make a single appearance for the Bhoys in the 2020/21 campaign and that might indicate that Neil Lennon doesn’t view him as being an important first-team player right now.

He played only 16 league games last season and played just 17 times in the regular 2018/19 Premiership campaign as well. It shows that his involvement at Celtic has already reduced and with that in mind, it is hardly a surprise that Celtic were in talks to sell him. If Rogic wants more game time, his agent might indeed be looking to help him seal a move away from Parkhead soon.
