Many Tottenham Hotspur supporters have flocked to a recent Twitter post from @thespursweb in which they relayed a report claimed to be from Sports Chosun which says the club remain interested in defender Kim Min-Jae.
The 23-year-old centre-back currently plays his football for Beijing Sinobo Guoan in the Chinese Super League. According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the South Korea international is currently valued at £1.35m.
Fabrizio Romano recently joined the panel on the Last Word On Spurs podcast and revealed that the Lilywhites are interested in bringing a centre-back to the club during this window, which would support the claims that they are eyeing up a move for the Korean.
Following the update, here is how a sample of the club’s faithful responded on social media.
I really fail to understand why we are so enamored by the thought of signing this guy

Would you like to see the club sign Kim Min-Jae?
Yes
No
It’s clear from the above responses that not all of these supporters would be excited by the prospect of the player coming to north London. However, one was far more positive about Kim.
Trust me he is good I’ve watched many CSL matches from where I live. He just sort of becomes an understatement when compared with Skriniar, but I think he will do the job.

Jan Vertonghen recently left the club on a free transfer and according to Romano, Jose Mourinho is in the market for another centre-back, however, it remains to be seen whether they will bring in the Son Heung-Min’s international teammate.
