Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to one of the latest reports regarding AC Milan’s interest in signing Serge Aurier.
On Thursday evening, MilanNews ran a report which quoted Manuele Baiocchini from an interview with Sky Sport in which he stated: “Aurier is one of the few names left on Milan’s list”.
It was also stated by Baiocchini that Spurs could be open to loaning the Ivorian defender out ‘towards the end of the transfer market’, something which Milan would be happy with.
However, a report later in the day from MilanNews stated that Tottenham do ‘not consider the loan as an option’.
The fact that Milan were still interested in securing the services of the defender was relayed to social media by Hotspur Related and their tweet added that the two clubs are still ‘around £5m apart in their valuation’ of Aurier.
Perhaps the supposed £5m difference in their valuation was stated after The AC Milan Offside cited MilanNews’ report and mentioned the figures.
However, the tweet from Hotspur Related had lots of Spurs fans talking.

In August, it was reported by Sky Sports that alongside Milan, Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen were also keen on signing Aurier this summer.
Do you want Spurs to sell Serge Aurier this summer?
No, he should stay
Yes, he should go
Just take the £5m hit on this one @SpursOfficial

During the most recent Premier League season, Aurier was in solid form for Spurs as he delivered a respectable 7.06/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
In fact, that made the Ivorian defender the third-best performer for Jose Mourinho’s outfit in the league during the 2019/20 season.
Just loan him (5m loan fee) with an obligation to buy for 15m next season

As can be seen in these responses from Spurs fans, the majority of them seem keen for the club to sell Aurier to Milan this summer.
